A Gift for Mom….

….for Mother’s Day.

A few years ago I had to make an album for someone about our family.  As I started to gather photos for this book I soon came to realize that I didn’t have very many of myself.  I had tons of photos of Aaron by himself and with Darryl or other family members but I had a hard time finding ones with me in them.  Why is that?  Well, there are a couple of reasons. 

1) I am always on the other side of the lens.  I take all the photos of us in our daily lives.

2) My husband doesn’t know how to work my camera.  It is always on manual mode so for him to pick it up and take a couple of photos would be disastrous because they would either be overexposed or underexposed.  He hasn’t a clue how to change the settings.  Maybe it’s time to give him some lessons.

So, if you are the Mom that finds yourself in my shoes this mini shoot is for you.  Are you the primary photographer in your family?  Are you nonexistant in your family photos?

Well, I am planning on doing a mini shoot May 12 in Picture Butte at the community center.  The lobby has large windows that let in beautiful natural light.  I’m setting up a mini studio (sort of) so that I can capture you, mom, with your children.  You can pick from 3 sittings: 1) Mom & daughter(s), 2) Mom & son(s), 3) Mom & kids. 

Each session costs $30 and includes:

1 sitting fee, $10 extra for more

1 ~ 8×10 edited print, $5 for each additional copy
